1 goal seperates teams in League cup clash

The ladies today came out and gave absolutely everything. Left nothing in reserve as they left the field after 90 minutes.
We showed how tough it is to play against us as the league leaders struggled to create any clear cut opportunities.
In the first half we hit the bar had a few chances on target a few one on ones and some opportunities from crosses.
Incredibly unlucky not to convert these, however great defending and also some brilliant saves kept us from going ahead.
We were 1-0 down about 20 minutes in against the run of play.
We showed good build up play once we had the ball under control and sometimes the final pass was over hit. All game we played with confidence and looked likely to score.
Second half had us all on the edge of our seat as so many opportunities between the two teams. QPR defended their lead against the run of play.
The players performance was second to none and proud of all of them.
We look to build on what we showed today and move forward into our next league game. Can’t look back and worry about previous games. We know what we can do, how we can play and need a little bit of luck on our side at times. But the win is coming and very long overdue.
