Ladies secure 1st win of season and clean sheet

Today saw Denham take on Aylesford ladies and looking for their first win of the season.
In the first minute we took the lead after Kara Howes slotted the ball into the back of the net.
We looked comfortable in possession and worked the ball well through the thirds creating many opportunities.
After many crosses and blocked shots came a cross from the right side and Lauren Cox met the ball and headed it in to give us a nice 2-0 lead before half time.
Throughout the first half the opposition found it difficult to get out of their half.

In the second half we continued to put the pressure on and moved the ball at a faster pace switching it from left to right. We created many shooting opportunities and then came out third goal from a scramble in the box, a cross that wasn’t cleared properly fell to Emma Kern who turned and finished with a clean strike.
We started to look tired but still dangerous and after many attempts in the second half came our final strike of the game in 90+mins Annie Hewitt's sweet strike fired into the goal.
