On Saturday the U13s played away to Bedwell Rangers carrying on their league campaign. Playing on a terrible and massive pitch with the wind blustering all game, it wasn’t going to be a masterpiece. The girls produced their ever present battling display and created plenty of good chances throughout the first half, at half time though we were 1-0 down but we had successfully beaten the wind and being a player down. The 2nd half we very much controlled the game and kept the pressure on Bedwell. Again we created plenty of really good chances and I started to wonder if today was going to be one of those days. Megan Atwell got us back in the game with a fine finish from a lovely pass from Scarlett, now could we find the winner. Unfortunately, even with further chances we didn’t make the breakthrough and the game finished 1-1. Another good performance from the girls made really scrappy by the conditions.
