On Sunday the First Team travelled to League Opposition Ashford Town (Middx) in the FA Cup.
It was a tough opening game of the season and one to learn from. A positive display for a solid 45 minutes with plenty of chances falling to us. Unfortunately, we were undone by a set piece in the first half against the run of play and we didn't make the most of our opportunities.
Second half was a bit patchy and took too long to get back into the game. Even with a player sent off it added a bit of fire into the teams performance and you certainly wouldn’t be able to tell we were a player down. We look to improve on our performance in training for our 1st league game coming up this Sunday against Dartford K.O 2pm.
