Girls proceed to next round of County Cup

Today the Reserves travelled to Walthamstow to play the first round off the County Cup against David Beckham and Harry Kane’s former youth club Ridgeway Rovers. Denham started the game really well with Jess Stickley hitting the cross bar in the first few minutes. We carried on taking control off the game and the game management out off defence was superb on a really muddy pitch our patience paid off and on 35 mins Charlotte hit a free kick from 35 yards which the keeper dropped and it went in 1-0 denham half time. Second half we didn’t start that well but after a few changes we took control off the game, Then Zara came out onto pitch and put a great ball over to Mia who scored . It was her 3rd goal in only her second senior game which put the game to bed. Final score 2-0 denham onto the next round and another decent performance.
