Girls put on a brave display against Top of the League with just 8 players

The U12s (Sat) played top of the league Alexandra Park girls on Saturday at home and we knew it was not going to be easy especially playing with only 8 players to their 9. The game started well but the opposition used there player advantage to full affect. The girls done their best and at half time the game was close with us being 3-2 down. 2nd half we were under pressure and could not break through there well structured defence, tired legs proved to be our downfall and we lost the game 7-2. However, the scoreline does not show how well the girls played.
