Girls come from behind in thrilling opening match of the season

A well earned draw 4-4 for the u15s who took on Watford Hornets in the first league game of the season. The girls were 3-0 down at half time, even though they enjoyed some good possession. The second half saw the u15s take the game to Watford and pull it back to 3-3, then with 5 mins to go 4-3 to Denham. Only to concede right at the death from a free kick and the game finished 4-4. The parents player of the match went to Hatrick hero Amy who scored 3 great goals. The fourth goal was scored by Nicole who almost broke the net with a great strike.

Today was a strong team performance, I have never witnessed this team in 5 years come back from being 3-0 down against a strong Watford side. The courage they showed today was inspiring, well done girls!
