Girls hit 6 with just 8 players and get all 3 points

The Under 13s played at home on Saturday against Hitchin Belles. With just a bear 8 players we played with no striker to keep the game tight and hit our opponents on the break. The girls shape, organisation and covering of each other was exceptional today, and going forward they passed well and broke quickly and caused our opponents lots of problems. Half time saw us leading 1-0 with a really good team performance. Through the 2nd half, the girls performance got even better, allowing Hitchin to come forward then pressing, winning the ball back and attacking with real pace. So pleasing to see our girls run out 6-1 winners after such a good performance and sticking to a game plan, brilliant attitude from them today.
Scorers were Kai Gallard 4, Scarlett Tuckwell 1 and Megan Atwell 1.
