Gritty and determined team performance doesn't reflect final scoreline

The U13s played Youngs today at the Den and with 4 of the u12s stepping up to play another game after theirs , it was always going to be interesting game. That being said we started off really well playing the better football throughout the first half. Lacie was dragged down in the box and up stepped Violet to make it 1-0. Ava then ran the ball down the left wing from our back post to their front post and stuck it in to make it 2-0. Youngs then really started to pressure out back line and managed to sneak one in just before half time. Start of the 2nd half was our downfall again the girls all seemed to switch off for 10 minutes and we found ourselves 5-2 down . We settled back into the game but youngs scored again. Freja then sprinted down the right wing late in the game and her cross became a shot and found the back post and went in. 6 - 3 to Youngs but the result doesn't show the grit and determination our girls had and fair play to them they never backed down.
